Basketball Recap: Chaney Has No Trouble Against Ursuline

Chaney hadn't done well against Ursuline recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Chaney Cowboys strolled past the Ursuline Fighting Irish with points to spare, taking the game 48-34. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-43 back in December of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Chaney and bumps their season record up to 13-6. As for Ursuline, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Chaney will challenge East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ursuline, they will square off against Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Louisville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Ursuline surely won't give up without a fight.
