Softball Game Preview: Harriton Rams vs. Strath Haven Panthers

Harriton hasn't had much luck against Strath Haven recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rams will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Harriton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Penncrest on Wednesday as they made off with a 22-6 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Strath Haven put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Radnor a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Strath Haven pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Harriton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
