Softball Recap: Cedar Hill Takes a Loss

Cedar Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-5 to the Lancaster Tigers.

Cedar Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lancaster, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Cedar Hill will challenge Mesquite at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Hill has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Lancaster, they will take on Skyline at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Lancaster surely won't give up without a fight.
