Basketball Recap: Viroqua Drops Season-High Score on Dodgeville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Viroqua). They put the hurt on the Dodgeville Dodgers with a sharp 67-46 win on Tuesday. With that victory, the Blackhawks brought their scoring average up to 51.2 points per game.

Allyah Schwem continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 31 points and 11 steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 18 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Chestelson, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.

Viroqua smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.
