Basketball Game Recap: Laurel Gators vs. Bellevue Redmen

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Laurel can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 46-40 to the Bellevue Redmen, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-40 on Saturday.

This is the second loss in a row for Laurel and nudges their season record down to 14-15. As for Bellevue, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 28-1.

Laurel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bellevue, they will host Archbishop Alter at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Archbishop Alter will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Bellevue surely won't give up without a fight.
