Jordan's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They skirted past the Kearns Cougars 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Beetdiggers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jordan took Kearns into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-20, 20-25, 25-14, 15-13.

Jordan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 33 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive contests.

Jordan's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-11. As for Kearns, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Jordan will play host again on Thursday to welcome Cottonwood, where is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. As for Kearns, they will square off against Hunter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kearns is facing Hunter at the right time seeing as Hunter is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
