Softball Game Preview: Fargo South Bruins vs. Fargo Davies Eagles

The Fargo South Bruins are taking a road trip to challenge the Fargo Davies Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Fargo South, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Fargo Davies' (thus far) undefeated season.

Fargo South fell victim to Valley City and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 13-0 to the Hi-Liners. The match marked the first time this year in which the Bruins were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Fargo Davies sidestepped Devils Lake for a 4-3 win.

Fargo South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fargo Davies, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything went Fargo South's way against Fargo Davies in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Fargo South made off with a 19-10 win. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
