Soccer Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence lost against Lightridge back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Independence fell 2-0 to Lightridge.

Independence now has a losing record of 5-6-2. As for Lightridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1-1.

Independence didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Stone Bridge on the 7th. As for Lightridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Riverside on the 7th.
