Volleyball Recap: Hough Falls Short of Ardrey Kell in the Playoffs

Hough and Ardrey Kell squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hough had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Huskies have suffered against the Knights since October 25, 2018.

Hough took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-22.

Leading Ardrey Kell to victory were Hayley Rollar and Kirsten Mathews. Rollar had nine digs and two assists, while Mathews had four digs and three aces.

Hough moved to 16-14 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak. As for Ardrey Kell, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-9.
