Basketball Recap: Skyline Skates Past Brentsville District with Ease

Skyline had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Brentsville District Tigers 81-24. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Brentsville District, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyline will be home for the holidays to greet Kettle Run at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Skyline knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Kettle Run likes a good challenge. As for Brentsville District, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Park View at 7:30 p.m.
