Softball Recap: Lockland Comes Up Short

Lockland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS, falling 16-3.

Lockland saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Princess Webster, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lockland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Madeira, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lockland will venture away from home to take on North College Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Madeira, they will head out to challenge Taylor at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellowjackets have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
