Softball Recap: North East Triumphs

North East won the last time they faced Harford Tech and things went their way on Monday too. North East came out on top against Harford Tech by a score of 5-2.

Jahnel Ledford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Victoria McGee, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Haven Anton was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

North East was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harford Tech only posted a batting average of .087.
