League recap: Kerr breaks off league-leading run for Susquehannock

Susquehannock's Bryan Kerr recorded the longest rushing play in York-Adams 2 this season in his game against York Suburban last week. Kerr scampered for 70 yards on the play and finished with 119 on the day as his team topped the Trojans.

Fans got a thrill when Marcus Josey and Gary Gobernick connected against York Catholic. The connection went for 51 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.

Tate Lau made the biggest impact on defense this week as Northeastern lost to the Fighting Irish. The 6-foot-1 sophomore.

Gobernick was the best wideout in the league this week as the Bobcats lost to York Catholic. Gobernick racked up 2 receptions for 75 yards. David Ankney helped Northeastern's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 32 yards.

Josiah Mincer was the most successful running back in York-Adams 2 this week. He ran for 131 yards on 13 carries as West York Area lost to 200CB-60BB5's team. Teammate Ross Campbell added to the ground attack by rushing for 53 yards.

Kerr put up the best numbers in passing as Susquehannock defeated York Suburban. He finished with 6 completions for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kerr's favorite target this week was Steven Nalls, who caught 4 passes for 63 yards.

Jon Scepanski's team's Josey and Gobernick have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Josey has thrown for 124 yards this season, while Gobernick, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 2 catches for 75 yards. Mincer from the Bulldogs leads the league in rushing with 131 yards.

The Warriors moved up to 401 from 447 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Susquehannock climbed the ranks as a result of beating Jeremy Jones' team 26-7.
