Basketball Recap: Liberty Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Liberty has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Etiwanda Eagles on Friday. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Liberty had strong showings from Jackson Hunter, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds, and TJ Harris, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephan Miller, who posted eight points.

Liberty's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-3. As for Etiwanda, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
