Coffee skates past Pierce County with ease

Recap: Coffee Trojans vs. Pierce County Bears
The Coffee Trojans lost to the Pierce County Bears back in January of 2021, but the Coffee Trojans didn't allow the Pierce County Bears the same satisfaction on Monday. Coffee claimed a resounding 61-21 victory over Pierce County on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-9.
Coffee was led to victory by Tekyla Hancock and Tyrianna Woodgett. Hancock scored 6 points along with 6 assists and 6 steals, while Woodgett scored 15 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Lexie Bradford, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Coffee and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Pierce County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Coffee will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fitzgerald at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Pierce County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wayne County at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th.
