Basketball Recap: Indian Rocks Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Kaylee Caruso and Kayleigh Atkinson

Indian Rocks Christian lost against Seffner Christian back in November of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indian Rocks Christian Eagles took a hard 47-28 fall against the Seffner Christian Crusaders. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Indian Rocks Christian had strong showings from Kayleigh Atkinson, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 13 points, and Kaylee Caruso, who posted six points.

Indian Rocks Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Seffner Christian, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian Rocks Christian will take on Lakeside Christian in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seffner Christian, they and Lakeland will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Seffner Christian is facing Lakeland at the right time seeing as Lakeland is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
