Football Recap: Chanhassen Skates Past Burnsville with Ease

While Chanhassen put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Burnsville. The Storm blew past the Blaze, posting a 65-0 win. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Blaze are ranked 216th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chanhassen has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 22 points this season. As for Burnsville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chanhassen will venture away from home to challenge Waconia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burnsville, they will face off against St. Thomas Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
