Basketball Recap: Clewiston Comes Up Short

Clewiston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 61-39 to the Dunbar Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Clewiston this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-37 back in November of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dunbar to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cloudy Dor'Juste, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. That's the most points Dor'Juste has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Jamari Cobb, who went 7 for 15 en route to 17 points.

Clewiston's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Dunbar, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-14.

Clewiston has already played their next game (against LaBelle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dunbar has already played their next contest, a 69-54 win against Canterbury on the 29th.
