Heritage Academy dropped their record down to 7-10-1 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes, falling 27-14. If the Heroes were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Coyotes when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Isaias Ruiz was cooking despite his team's loss, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Jared Wittman was another key player, going 1-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, their record now sits at 11-12. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

On Arizona Lutheran Academy's side, Colton Pennington was incredible, going 5-for-6 with one home run, six runs, and five RBI. Pennington has become a key player for the Coyotes: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 7-12 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Eric Urbieta, who got on base in five of his seven plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

As of now, neither Heritage Academy nor Arizona Lutheran Academy have any future games scheduled.
