Softball Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cascade's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Deshler Tigers on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Champions were not able to get on the board.

Cascade now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Deshler, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.

Coming up, Cascade will square off against Camden Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Camden Central's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Cascade's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Deshler, they have already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Connersville on the 26th.
