Basketball Recap: Poughkeepsie Comes Up Short

Poughkeepsie lost against Yorktown back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Poughkeepsie Pioneers fell to the Yorktown Huskers 61-55. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Poughkeepsie's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Yorktown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Brewster the next time they take the court. Yorktown will head out to face Brewster at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Poughkeepsie will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
