Camp Point Central took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars 50-8. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Camp Point Central had a senior duo take command as Curtis Rigg rushed for 118 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries and Jasper Flesner rushed for 48 yards and three scores. Flesner also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making five total tackles. Marco Rodriguez was in the mix too, providing Camp Point Central with one touchdown.

Camp Point Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 24-6 victory against Greenfield/Northwestern on the 5th. As for West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs], they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 30-0 win against Routt Catholic/Lutheran on the 5th.
