Recap: Fannindel Falcons vs. Campbell Indians
The Fannindel Falcons's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down Campbell 63-49. For Fannindel, this counts as revenge for the 45-43 defeat Campbell walked away with the last time they faced one another on January 2nd.
Fannindel found their leader in underclassman Kalob Runnels, who scored 22 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Runnels has scored at least a third of Fannindel's points. Another player making a difference was Edgar Lopez, who scored 13 points.
Fannindel's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13. As for Campbell, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
Fannindel will take on Ector at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ector is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Campbell, they will head out on the road to square off against Savoy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
