Softball Recap: Leslie County's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Leslie County can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They never let the Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-0 back in April.

Emily Caldwell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, earning one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaylee Wooton, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Maddi Coots was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.
