Softball Recap: Graford Takes a Loss

Graford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-2 to the Windthorst Trojans. The Rabbits were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Graford saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilly Ruddy, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Graford's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Windthorst, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Graford will be taking part in a tournament against Benbrook at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Windthorst, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Henrietta at 9:00 a.m.
