Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Etna). They never let the Trinity Wolves get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Emmett Stacher made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Etna is 6-1 when Stacher posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-2 otherwise.

In other batting news, Ashton Elam was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Noah Hubbard was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.
