Basketball Game Preview: Killian Cougars vs. Central Rockets

The Killian Cougars are taking a road trip to face off against the Central Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Killian has six straight wins, Central has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Killian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 69-28 victory over Carol City. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Central was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 46-45 to Jackson.

Killian's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Killian against Central when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 49-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
