Soccer Game Preview: Glenbard East vs. Ridgewood

The Glenbard East Rams will challenge the Ridgewood Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Glenbard East is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Riverside-Brookfield a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Charlie Gidcumb as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Ridgewood has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 2nd. They and Deerfield finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw on Friday.

Ridgewood's draw makes their record 2-7-2 this season. As for Glenbard East, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Glenbard East beat Ridgewood by a goal in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-1. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
