The Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars will challenge the Western Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Pinecrest Academy Cadence has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 6.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Santiago Trujillo-Medina, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI. Camrith Fernandes also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western). They never let Valley get on the board and left with a 30-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won five in a row.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Western, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-6.
