Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Palmer Ridge

Palmer Ridge kept a clean sheet against Holy Family on Saturday. They beat the Tigers by a goal, winning 1-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Palmer Ridge's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Holy Family are ranked 65th).

Palmer Ridge's one-goal win came courtesy of Trista Sharratt, who's now up to eight this season.

The win (which was Palmer Ridge's third in a row) raised their record to 12-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matches. As for Holy Family, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4-1.

Palmer Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against Lewis-Palmer on the 28th. As for Holy Family, they will square off against Centaurus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
