Basketball Game Preview: Yuma Criminals vs. Dysart Demons

Yuma hasn't had much luck against Dysart recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Yuma sitting on three straight wins and Dysart on eight.

On Thursday, Yuma beat Gila Ridge 67-56. The Criminals pushed the score to 60-35 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hawks cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dysart). They breezed by Desert Sunrise to the tune of 97-32 on Thursday. The Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 23 points or more this season.

Dysart's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.5 points. As for Yuma, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
