Elk Grove not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Sheldon Huskies as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Thundering Herd in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won four in a row.

Elk Grove never let Sheldon on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 27-25.

Elk Grove's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Sheldon, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Elk Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Cosumnes Oaks on the 16th. As for Sheldon, they will head out on the road to face off against Pleasant Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
