With four touchdown receptions in Navasota's 56-34 playoff win over El Campo, Tren'Davian Dickson, a 2016 Baylor commit, broke the Texas state record for touchdown receptions in a season.

Dickson entered the game with 30 touchdown catches on the season and caught four during the contest. His 34 touchdown catches break the state record of 33, held by Shane Boyd.

Dickson also tied the national record of 34, held by Kirby Moore of Prosser (Wash.).

Dickson had 62 catches for 1,615 yards entering the El Campo game. Complete stats for the game were unavailable.

Navasota (13-0) advances to play Henderson in Saturday's quarterfinals.
