Volleyball Recap: Ballantyne Ridge Takes a Loss

Ballantyne Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Myers Park Mustangs. While the Wolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 25-13 in the first set.

Ballantyne Ridge actually scored more points across those five sets (106-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 13-25, 20-25, 26-24, 25-22, 15-10.

Ballantyne Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Ballantyne Ridge and Butler will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Myers Park, they will square off against Ardrey Kell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
