Recap: Cimarron Bluejays vs. Sunrise Christian Academy Silver Buffaloes
The Cimarron Bluejays suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 65-27 loss at the hands of Sunrise Christian Academy Silver. Cimarron was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-9.
Sunrise Christian Academy Silver can attribute much of their success to Jacob Silva, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Iyzrel Graham, who scored nine points.
Cimarron has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Sunrise Christian Academy Silver, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.
Cimarron will head out on the road to face off against Chase at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chase is on a five-game streak of home losses, Cimarron an eight-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. Sunrise Christian Academy Silver on the road again on Friday and play against Central Plains at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th. Central Plains is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
