Houston Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Mobile Christian Leopards on Tuesday as they made off with an 8-1 win. Houston Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Mobile Christian with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nate Selig (5), Wills McRae, Andrew Gil, and Robert Egbert.

Houston Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 116 goals over those 18 games. As for Mobile Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Houston Academy will face off against Providence Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Providence Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Houston Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Mobile Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
