Basketball Game Preview: Lynn Camp Wildcats vs. McCreary Central Raiders

Lynn Camp and McCreary Central are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Lynn Camp Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the McCreary Central Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Lynn Camp took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Oneida Baptist Institute, posting a 59-28 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, McCreary Central beat Middlesboro 57-50 on Thursday.

McCreary Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season. As for Lynn Camp, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-12.

Things could have been worse for Lynn Camp, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-46 loss to McCreary Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Lynn Camp avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
