Monday just wasn't the day for Lordstown's offense. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 11-0 walloping at the hands of the Bristol Panthers on Monday. Lordstown has not had much luck with Bristol recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

For Bristol's part, Croc Thorp was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. Thorp is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jayden Miller, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Lordstown now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Bristol, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lordstown will take on St. John at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. John will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Lordstown surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bristol, they will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Harding, where first pitch is scheduled at 5:00 p.m.
