Prairie View Academy falls despite strong effort from Tollan Wallace

Recap: Prairie View Academy Spartans vs. River Oaks Mustangs
The Prairie View Academy Spartans fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the River Oaks Mustangs on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 58-56. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), Prairie View Academy still had to take the loss.
When it comes to explaining why Prairie View Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tollan Wallace. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Stokes, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Prairie View Academy and nudges their season record down to 14-8. As for River Oaks, their win bumped their record up to 11-15.
Prairie View Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. River Oaks also has no future games currently scheduled.
