Vince Huguez turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out five batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has become a key player for Pomona: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Huguez and Pomona will face off against La Puente at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
