Lucas Mendez Game Report: vs Villanova Prep

Santa Clara found a leader in Lucas Mendez as the team took down Villanova Prep on Tuesday. Nobody could stop Mendez as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Mendez and Santa Clara will face off against Grace at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints haven't beaten the Lancers recently, having gone 0-7 since April of 2015.
