Basketball Game Preview: Lake Creek Lions vs. College Station Cougars

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lake Creek Lions face off against the College Station Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday... Lake Creek has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three contests.

Lake Creek picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against Episcopal School of Dallas by a score of 69-58.

Meanwhile, College Station was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 54-39 bruising from Rudder.

Lake Creek has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for College Station, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Lake Creek barely slipped by College Station in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 55-54. Will Lake Creek repeat their success, or does College Station have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
