            Softball Recap: Onaga Buffaloes vs. Marysville Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Onaga lost to Marysville  on Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. Onaga put the hurt on Marysville with a sharp  10-2 victory. The Buffaloes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by eight  runs or more this season.
 Bridgett Campbell made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). Campbell was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Ember Conger and  Marissa Sauvage did most of the damage at the plate:  Conger  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  doubles, one  triple,  and one  run, while  Sauvage  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI and two  runs. Those  hits marked the first that  Conger  got this season.  Willow Hochstedler was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Onaga was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marysville only posted a  batting average of  .179.
Onaga's record is now 3-1. As for Marysville, their  defeat was their first of the  season and also makes their record 3-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Onaga will venture away from home to  challenge Doniphan West  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The  matchup will  give Onaga their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Marysville, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chapman at 4:30  p.m.  on April 8. This will also be Marysville's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
