Volleyball Recap: Morgan Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ben Lomond on Thursday, Morgan came back down to earth. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bountiful RedHawks on Friday.

Despite the loss, Morgan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caleb Stephens had 15 assists and five digs. Stephens has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more assists the last 15 times he's played.

Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Bountiful, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Morgan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Green Canyon on the 25th. As for Bountiful, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Mountain Crest on the 25th.
