After a string of three wins, Early County's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chattahoochee County Panthers. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-21.

Early County's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Chattahoochee County, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Coincidentally, Early County and Chattahoochee County will both be playing Stewart County the next time they take the court. The Panthers will host the Royal Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bobcats will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
