Softball Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

Ashland lost against Dedham back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Clockers came up short against the Marauders, falling 12-1. The Clockers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caroline Caira made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple. That triple was her first of the season.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dedham, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ashland is set to take on their familiar foe Medfield at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Dedham will square off against rival Bellingham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
