Baseball Recap: Nonnewaug Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Nonnewaug was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Housatonic-Lakeview Mountaineers.

Nonnewaug saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Keil, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Nonnewaug's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Housatonic-Lakeview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Nonnewaug will challenge Housatonic at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Housatonic-Lakeview, they will square off against Mount Everett Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
