Volleyball Preview: Glenelg Gladiators vs. River Hill Hawks
After two games on the road, Glenelg is heading back home. After both having extra time off, they and the River Hill Hawks will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Glenelg had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-13, 27-25, 25-18.
Olivia Mcdonough was a one-man wrecking crew for Glenelg as she had 22 digs and five aces. That's the most aces Mcdonough has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Chen, who had eight digs and two aces.
She wasn't the only good server: Glenelg was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, River Hill made easy work of Hammond on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Glenelg pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for River Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
