Soccer Game Preview: Grace Christian vs. Arlington Memorial

The Grace Christian Lions will face off against the Arlington Memorial Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Grace Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Sharon Academy, who was ranked 20th at the time (Grace Christian was ranked 13th). The Lions lost 6-1 to the Phoenix on Friday. Grace Christian have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Meanwhile, Arlington Memorial earned a 3-1 win over Long Trail on Friday.

Arlington Memorial's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matches. As for Grace Christian, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-1.
