Elkmont has gone a perfect 3-0 against Brindlee Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Elkmont Red Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Brindlee Mountain Lions at 4:30 p.m. Elkmont will be strutting in after a victory while Brindlee Mountain will be coming in after a loss.

Elkmont is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 14-3 margin over Clements on Monday. The Red Devils not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 27, 2024.

MJ Woodfin made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

In other batting news, Elkmont let Julia Bradford and McKenzie Doner run wild. Bradford scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3, while Doner scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Avery Broadway was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Brindlee Mountain fell victim to Douglas and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 23-0 to the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Brindlee Mountain has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. Elkmont's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4.

Everything went Elkmont's way against Brindlee Mountain in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Elkmont made off with an 11-0 victory. Will Elkmont repeat their success, or does Brindlee Mountain have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
